TFPSoft Privacy Practice
TFPSoft is committed to protecting your privacy. This statement discloses
our information practices, including what type of information is gathered and tracked,
how the information is used, and with whom the information is shared.
Information Collection and Use
In general, you can visit the TFPSoft web site without telling us
who you are and without revealing any information about yourself.
There are times, however, when we may need information from you:
- Contacting Customer or Technical Support -
When requesting customer or technical support, a user is required to supply
contact information such as name and e-mail address. We use this information
to contact the user in response to their support question. Other technical
information, such as system configuration, is sometimes also requested.
This information is used to diagnose problems in response to technical
questions. It is also used in-house to build statistics about what kind of
computers our visitors use, in order to guide future development. Product
registration codes are also sometimes requested as proof-of-purchase so that
the user can access updates, priority support or special services.
- Registering Software -
We request information from the user whenever software is registered.
A user must provide contact information when registering software; this
information is used to fulfill the order, verify eligibility for updates,
or to contact the customer if there is a problem fulfilling the order.
TFPSoft does not rent, sell or otherwise distribute personal user information, including
e-mail addresses, to third parties. TFPSoft uses e-mail addresses to respond to you
or process a request, or to deliver order information or update notices for products purchased.
TFPSoft may occassionally offer electronic newsletters to users who voluntarily subscribe and
explicitly request the newsletter. Users may remove themselves from the newsletter
mailing list at any time by following the instructions provided with the newsletter. Mailing lists
are not shared with third parties.
Certain exceptional disclosures: We may disclose your information
if necessary to protect our legal rights or if the information relates to actual
or threatened harmful conduct. Disclosure may be required by law or if we receive
legal process.
Cookies, Web Beacons and Other Technologies
We sometimes collect anonymous information from visits to our site to help us
analyze trends and provide better customer service. For example, we keep track of
the domains from which people visit, and how many people visit each page. This
information is collected anonymously, and is not tied to other personal information.
- Cookies - A cookie is an element of data that a web site can send to your browser,
which may then be stored on your system. TFPSoft does not store any sensitive information in cookies,
and does not use cookies to track individual users. Disabling cookies in your browser will not interfere
with most pages on this site, however, certain special features such as online mini-games may not operate
properly if you do so.
- Web Beacons/Web Bugs - A web beacon is a tiny graphical element (clear gif) with
a unique identifier that is used to track a users movement. TFPSoft does not use web beacons.
- Log Files - Like most standard web site servers, we use log files. This includes
internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages,
platform type, date/time stamp, and number of clicks and is used to analyze trends, administer the site,
track user’s movement in the aggregate, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use.
IP addresses, etc. are not linked to personally identifiable information. TFPSoft does not share its
log files with third parties.

This web site contains links to other sites. Please be aware that we are not responsible
for the privacy practices of such other sites. We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our site
and to read the privacy statements of each and every web site that collects personally identifiable information.
This privacy statement applies solely to information collected by this web site.
Security
We take appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access to your personally identifiable information.
Only authorized employees, agents and contractors who have agreed to keep information secure and confidential and who need to
know that information in order to operate, develop or improve our services have access to this information. These individuals
are bound by confidentiality obligations and may be subject to discipline, including termination and criminal prosecution,
if they fail to meet these obligations.
